BlackBerry OS is known for its security, multitasking and native support for corporate email. And how can we forget about 'BBM' BlackBerry Messenger without which story is incomplete. Initially it was released on January 19, 1999 as version 1.0 for BlackBerry 850- 'Pager' Pager BlackBerry 850 with this handheld device BlackBerry OS (RIM) made its debut some 18 years ago. This small handheld device sporting a monochrome lcd screen and having email and had a limited html browsing features. The final latest release of BlackBerry OS was seen in BlackBerry 7.1 OS and was released as version 7.1.0.2931 (for 9790/9900) in November 2013.
